Youtube Video Help NEEDED!!!?

This is going to sound like a really stupid question, but how do you get random video clips onto your youtube video in the making? Im trying to make a video with some music and clips of basketball players, but I can’t upload the videos of the basketball players onto my youtube video in Windows Movie Maker. Why not? How do I do this?
